Deira<\/h2>

The trio made up of musicians from Asturias and Andalusia began its journey in 2019 when they were requested as a resident group in the Asturian tent of the Lorient Interceltic Festival (French Brittany).
Its members, all of them trained in a conservatory but at the same time with extensive experience in the folk field in projects such as Vrienden, Stolen Notes or Young Forest, decide to launch during the pandemic a first demo recorded remotely in which they explore the connections of Asturian and Scottish music from a modern prism.<\/p>

This leads them to be awarded in different international band competitions, culminating with first prize in The Battle of the folk Bands (2022), being the first non-Scottish group to win the award.
From then on they intensified their concert activity, having taken part in some of the most important folk festivals in Europe and being recognized by the specialized press as one of the groups with the most projection of the moment. In 2023 they release \u201cALBA\u201d, their first album, which is presented at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow during the prestigious Celtic Connections.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

SALVADOR DAZA: FIDDLE<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sevillian violinist, he began his viola studies at the age of 11. His passion for music led him to discover the folk violin and after discovering the folk sessions in Seville, he immersed himself in the traditional world, resulting in being part of the Andalusian band \u00bbStolen Notes\u00bb. He receives complementary training with renowned musicians such as Alasdair Fraser and Donal O'Connor. His concerns went further, and at the age of 24 he moved to Madrid where he immersed himself in another large-scale project, \u00bbYoung Forest\u00bb with whom he finished his career in 2023. Currently his main occupation is musical production, being a multi-instrumentalist studio musician. , participating in renowned projects such as different soundtracks for Disney films<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

JUAN ALMARAZ: IRISH FLUTE<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A flutist from C\u00e1diz, from a very young age he combines his classical training with his passion for folk music. After completing his flute studies at the Conservatory of C\u00f3rdoba and later at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he specialized in Irish flute, an instrument on which he focused his Master's thesis. From 2009 to 2022 he was part of the folk-Celtic group Stolen Notes, with whom he published three albums and obtained various awards and recognitions. He has collaborated live or in the studio with multiple groups such as Celtas Cortos, Corqui\u00e9u or the Malaga Symphony Orchestra. He currently combines his musical projects with teaching at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory in C\u00e1diz as a professor of transverse flute.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

GONZALO LLAO: BOUZOUKI<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Asturian bouzoukist and banjo player, from his beginnings along with his training in ancient music, he began to be interested in Asturian music and then in the traditional music of the Celtic nations. His dedication bore fruit to an eclectic, broad-minded musician who could play various instruments such as the flute, whistle, banjo or bouzouki. His professional folk career began with Vrienden, an Asturian folk-fusion group with whom he recorded his second album \u00bbUVE\u00bb. He is a specialist in early music, with a degree in Recorder from the Zaragoza Superior Conservatory. In addition to his artistic activity, he carries out intense pedagogical work with both flutes and string instruments.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
